WSX Step #5 *La Plagne, France : Jim De Paoli wins the 5th step of the World Skate Cross Series ! After taking the second place in the time trials, Jim De Paoli (Sui) made his way to the finals, where he took the best start, while the favorite of the final, the french Thomas Lieurey was fighting to come back on him, but never found the space to pass J.De Paoli who crossed the finish line in first position. Kevin Quintin (Fra) won the WSX Rome event for the second year in a row ! For his first race of the season, K.Quintin showed everyone that we can count on him for the final 2013 title. In a 100% french final, Antony Avellatook the second place and Thomas Lieurey took the third place.
In the women's race, the frenchs took also the 3 first places. Mathilde Monneron got her first victory in a WSX event, dominating the whole competition.
Antony Pottier has been shredding hard for years. He never ceases to amaze with big tricks and technical switchups at competitions all over Europe. Seba Skates recently added Antony to their team, and the Belgian powerhouse has been pretty busy ever since. He still found some time to film this sick One Minute One Spot though. Check it out!
The Paris Slalom World Cup 2013 is one of the most important freestyle slalom event in the world. The competition is held every year since 2003 at the end of May, in Paris, France, on the famous Trocadero, in front of the Eiffel tower. In 2013, it gathered around 140 competitors, coming from 16 countries. The best skaters of the world come to this event as they all want to add a prestigious victory in Paris on their records !
